Program: 4.5M SQF of Mixed-use complex including Park Hyatt, Condos, and Two Office Towers

The site with its important, strategic location engaging the World Trade Center across Jianguomenwai Street, led to the desire to have the Project design seek openness and allow the spaces on the Podium level to flow freely in order to truly create a memorable and unique shopping experience – the Park Life center. People can pass through and into the Project from all directions. The result is a design that is direct, open and engaging on all levels.

The Project’s sweeping podium offers the opportunity for a major shopping center as a centerpiece, befitting the Project’s iconic composition. For the central tower, the concept of a lanternlike abstract building top fits well for Beijing skylines. That will offer an opportunity to integrate kinetic lighting and further establish a special place in the city.
